78-acre brush fire near Moorpark but no homes are threatened and no injuries have been reported

MOORPARK, Calif.—Ventura County authorities are battling a 78-acre brush fire near Moorpark but no homes are threatened and no injuries have been reported.
The fire began shortly before noon Friday along Highway 118.
County fire Capt. Ron Oatman told the Ventura County Star that the blaze is burning through rolling hills of grass and brush, with no structures in its immediate vicinity.
About 250 firefighters aided by bulldozers and water-dropping helicopters are battling the fire, which is about 40 percent contained.
Oatman says the weather has been mild and crews are getting a handle on the northern side of the blaze.
No injuries are reported and there's no word on what sparked the fire

Harry Potter is out this weekend. If you care at all, you already knew

WEEKEND MOVIE GUIDE: Yes, Harry Potter is out this weekend. If you care at all, you already knew. Also on tap: Winnie the Pooh, a Bellflower screening in New York, and Monday’s HBO Documentary Series feature, Mann vs. Ford.
HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2: The final chapter! All your friends are back — creepo, Cap’n Forehead, the ginger kid, the super-pretty one, and probably some other people — for a high-octane thrill ride of magic wands and yelling.

Gratuitous Review Quotes (out of the 202 reviews, guess who was one of the five negative. Go ahead, just guess…):
“The best possible end for the series that began a decade ago.” -Joe Morganstern, Wall Street Journal
“It’s a pleasant irony that, just as the first installments of Rowling’s oeuvre were better suited to page than screen, the final installments have reversed the relationship.” -Christopher Orr, The Atlantic (of course…)
“This is the way The Harry Potter saga was meant to end.” -Laremy Legel, Film.com
“Now that the Harry Potter series is over, maybe the truth can be realized: This has been the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises.” -Armond White
“TRUTHBOMB’D, MOTHAF*CKAS! But before I go, I just want you to know that this fur hat is made out of Hoberman’s sister’s pubic hairs.” (*drops mic, dumps pimp chalice on Ebert, exits building to chants of ‘Hate hate hate hate hate hate…’*)

Symbian Belle on the E7 Image

These two images are apparently Symbian Belle on the E7.
It looks a lot like Windows Phone lock screen. If by look like we mean wallpaper, clock, date, status bar and notifications (arguably generic – MeeGo Harmattan may be a better comparison – though I do love what they did with notifications on lock screen.). It’s posted on the same site that initially reported the leaked Anna.

The clock finally isn’t 2:18 and has at least changed in between these photos.  I do wish WP had Symbian’s always on clock when AMOLED screen is locked.

Some have mentioned that although Anna has taken quite a while to reach us, Belle might not take as long. Let’s hope they’re right.

Confessions of a Shopaholic star was spotted freaking out as she boarded a Virgin America flight to New York on Monday night

Isla Fisher is scared of flying.

The ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ star was spotted freaking out as she boarded a Virgin America flight to New York on Monday night (11.07.11).

Luckily for the 35-year-old actress – who is married to Sacha Baron Cohen, with whom she has two daughters Olive, three, and baby Elula -the cabin crew realised she was nervous about the flight and let her speak to the pilot to alleviate her fears.

She was given a tour of the cockpit before the plane took off and as a thank you to staff, Isla posed for photographs with various crew members.

According to the New York Post newspaper, Isla was overheard telling a friend on the phone as she sat down on the plane, "I just met the pilots. They're really nice. I always feel better when I meet the pilots”.

Isla isn’t the only actress who is scared of flying.

Amy Adams is so frightened of air travel she will only board a plane if she can sit by someone she knows.

She previously revealed: "I've had some embarrassing episodes at airports. Certain American airlines don't assign seats and there have been times when I couldn't sit next to my companion. I've had a few meltdowns trying to get someone to change seats with me."
