OMG you guys, this is so scary! One of our favorite actresses, Rose McGowan, just revealed that for part of her life she was involved in a cult! How crazy is that?
Rose and her family were members of the cult, Children of God, since Rose was born. The cult was based in the Italian countryside (did you know that Rose is Italian?) and her family decided to escape the cult when things started getting a bit out hand. The Conan the Barbarian actress said that at first it was "really idyllic" but eventually she realized, "I did not want to be like those women [the women in the cult]. They were basically there to serve the men sexually." And thankfully her parents realized this and ran!
We're so happy that Rose and her family managed to escape what we think is a really scary situation! And look at Rose today! Beautiful and so talented! (people)
