Eurotrip basketball tour will include five games, starting Aug. 7 in Amsterdam. MSU, which told us in April of its plans to travel overseas

Mississippi State’s exhibition schedule overseas starts sooner than you might think.
The Bulldogs’ Eurotrip basketball tour will include five games, starting Aug. 7 in Amsterdam. MSU, which told us in April of its plans to travel overseas, released the schedule today via Twitter.
Here’s the schedule:
Aug. 7: Netherlands U-23 in Amsterdam
Aug. 8: Rotterdam Basket at the Rotterdam Sports Centrum
Aug. 10: Waregem in Ghent, Belgium
Aug. 11: St. Jan-Antwerp in Ghent, Belgium
Aug. 13: Vanves Basket in Paris
MSU is one of 19 college teams scheduled to travel overseas to play exhibition basketball games this year, MSU spokesman Gregg Ellis says.
College teams are allowed to participate in up to 10 games in an international tour every four years. Players are allowed to participate in an international tour once in their careers.
We’ll have more in the coming weeks on the trip, which players told us Monday is expected to be more casual than business. However you define it, the trip should provide ample time for the players to bond.
